Heavy all-cotton corduroy with full, clear wales, garment-washed with enzymes for a soft matte fade. The wash takes the stiffness out of new cloth but keeps its body: it drapes well, resists creasing and builds a natural worn-in patina over time.
The double front pleat is the soul of these trousers, taken from old French work trousers. It gives room through the thigh and seat, so they're comfortable and easy to wear with almost anything.
