80s Oversized Leather Blouson – Calfskin

The pared-back version of our 80s leather blouson: no panelling, just a clean zip front, slash pockets, a yoked back and an elasticated hem.

It's cut from the same young calfskin, 1.1–1.2mm and full-grain, with a tight, fine grain that's soft as lambskin but still holds the big 1980s shape. The hide is washed, degreased and softened for a matte, slightly hazy finish that builds a warm patina with wear.

Care: Keep out of prolonged sun and away from corrosive substances. Wipe with a soft dry cloth; use a leather cleaner for stubborn marks and a leather conditioner to keep it supple. Real calfskin shows natural marks (healed scratches, veins, slight grain and tone variation) and a washed, softened hide may show light wear at edges; these are part of the material, not faults. Hand-measured; allow ±2cm.
