A heavier hide: full-grain calfskin from roughly one-year-old calves, around 1.4mm thick. 'Heavy' here means a dense, collagen-rich core, not stiff leather, so it feels full and substantial in the hand.

The natural fine grain is kept, smooth and slightly springy. The tannery softening balances suppleness with structure, so the jacket neither collapses nor feels rigid. Over time, body heat and movement shape the creases and build a sheen of your own.

A classic short, boxy single-rider cut with a straight zip front, zip pockets and zip cuffs.

Care: Keep out of prolonged sun and away from corrosive substances. Wipe with a soft dry cloth; use a leather cleaner for stubborn marks and a leather conditioner to keep it supple. Real calfskin shows natural marks (healed scratches, veins, slight grain and tone variation) and a washed, softened hide may show light wear at edges; these are part of the material, not faults. Hand-measured; allow ±2cm.
