We first made this jacket ten years ago, and it's still the piece customers ask us about most. This season it's back in a heavier slub cotton we developed in-house, with a refined pattern. It blends the French work jacket with the Chinese frog button (pankou), one of the most recognisable details of traditional Chinese tailoring.

The cloth is enzyme stone-washed to take away the stiffness of new fabric and give a soft, hazy vintage tone. Each jacket fades slightly differently and keeps developing character with wear.
